Teleprompter 2887
Teleprompters are electronic displays that prompt speech. They are used in news casts and political speeches. Teleprompters come in many forms, but they all include a few elements: reflective surfaces, mirrored text, and a camera aperture. I reimagine teleprompters using familiar objects like picture frames, old suitcases, and music stands. The materials employed include grommets, lime green felt, baby blue velvet, and office supplies. The text they display are commands, but also Conversation Heart phrases, like “I’m yours”, or “Call me,” as well as emotional, performance delivery cues.
